Domain Hunter Gatherer pricing should be compared against the work you actually need to do: searching auction listings, discovering expired-domain candidates or examining larger shortlists with additional data. The software subscription is separate from the cost of buying and renewing domains.

DomainNexus and Domain Hunter Gatherer share a publishing family. Use the official plan details to compare capabilities and terms, then choose a plan against your own research workload rather than an expected resale profit.

Current advertised prices

The following prices were checked against the official pricing table on 6 October 2026. Prices are advertised in US dollars. Confirm the amount, currency, taxes and renewal terms shown at checkout before ordering.

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billing
Free$0$0
Premium$27$247
Pro$97$679

Pro Lifetime is also advertised at a one-off $1,749. It is a separate purchase option, so compare its included resources and conditions with the subscription plans before treating it as interchangeable with annual billing.

Match the feature tier to the task

The current FAQ clarifies the plan split. Free includes Domain Auction Hunter, limited support and the video library, with no card requirement or time limit. Premium adds keyword, niche and authority discovery tools for expired domains. Pro adds DomDetailer credits, Easy Expired Domains, DomRecovery and helpdesk support.

Pro subscriptions currently include 50,000 DomDetailer credits per monthly term or 600,000 per annual term. The Lifetime package advertises 500,000 included credits. These are different allocations; do not assume Lifetime includes the same recurring allowance as a subscription.

For an investor who only researches auction listings, start by assessing the Free workflow. A researcher needing the expired-domain discovery tools should compare Premium. Consider Pro when its additional resources address an actual bottleneck, rather than because it is the largest package.

Compare billing periods honestly

A hypothetical year of Premium at the advertised monthly rate costs $324 before any applicable additional charges. Its advertised annual payment is $247, a $77 difference. Twelve Pro monthly payments total $1,164 against $679 annually, a $485 difference. Annual billing saves money only if paying for that period makes sense for your circumstances.

Do not divide a lifetime price by an imagined number of future domain sales. Instead, compare expected usage, available cash and the exact licence terms. Our DHG setup guide helps you assess the workflow before committing to a larger purchase.

Check the total research budget and conditions

The Terms of Use govern licensing and service conditions. Check permitted computer use and the resources your order includes. Record the payment date, renewal arrangement and account email with your purchase records.

Read the refund policy rather than assuming cancellation automatically refunds an earlier charge. The vendor directs subscription cancellation requests through its member-area helpdesk; stopping a renewal and requesting a refund are separate actions.

Allow separately for registration or auction fees, renewals and any other research services. Our domain cost guide covers those holding costs. Finally, apply the metrics checklist to shortlisted names: paid software does not guarantee availability, traffic, search performance or a buyer.
